“Always be
joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances…” – 1 Thessalonians
5: 16
I KNOW I have used this scripture before, but it is so usable! Even
when we have been kept waiting – sometimes on a knife edge – we should thank
and praise God for past and present mercies received. But the Lord wants us to
keep on praying, so when we thank Him, pray also for future needs and for deeds
still to come. Typically, if prayers have been answered our faith is stronger –
and the stronger our faith the stronger the flow of the Holy Spirit into our
lives.
