“When Jesus spoke … he said, ‘I am the
light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but
will have the light of life.’” – John 8: 12
THIS scripture gives pause for deep thought. It is a fact that the dark
comes first, then the light. God had to speak first, and then there was light. The
day starts in the pitch dark as the clock passes midnight. And darkness tests
our faith. When the nights of our lives are truly dark and lonely, it is to God
we should look for light. He wants to lead
us by the hand - to Jesus, for He IS
the light that makes our world shine so that we see clearly again and reflect
His glow to others.
