“Pray, therefore, like this: Our Father
Who is in heaven, hallowed (kept holy) be Your name.” – Matthew 6: 9
THIS is a time for prayer in the affairs of my nation, South Africa,
and many others. Prayer is the most powerful form of communication on earth. It
is more powerful than the Internet, TV news networks or social media. But then
we must remember that when asked how to pray, Jesus began by stressing that the
God we pray to is holy. If we want things changed for the better, we must truly
believe He is holy. Focus on His holy nature which is to hear us, protect us,
comfort us and empower us to get His will done down here on this troubled planet
as it is in heaven.
