CHRIST’S two great commandments are to love your God and to love your
neighbor. If, after the devastating hurricanes in the Caribbean islands and in
Florida, USA, many people are saying “Thank God” they survived and are deeply
appreciative of the millions of helping hands that reached out to aid them in
their evacuation, in safe shelters and who will help them in their struggle to recover,
then some Godly purpose will have been achieved. The inhabitants in some of
these playgrounds of mankind will have walked through the valley of the shadow
of death. If it has focused them on their need for God and the goodness
inherent in their fellow men, then His love will have conquered their fear.
