Healing prayer

^“The Lord sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness.”- Psalm 41: 3

WE have become very aware recently of numerous serious and some deadly illnesses, especially cancer, among people we know. So we join a very senior pastor, Costa Mitchell, in his own public call for people to pray for healing over some of his ailing friends. But let’s extend the prayer to anyone you know who needs healing. The prayer Costa suggests is: “The Lord protects and preserves them—they are counted among the blessed in the land—he does not give them over to the desire of their foes. The Lord sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness.” (Psalm 41: 2 – 3)
