The Lord then
said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your whole family...” – Genesis 7: 1
GOD invented families. He is God the Father; we are His children. He
wants us to manage our families with love, care, generosity and sacrifice if
necessary. He teaches that we don’t deserve to be leading in other areas of our
life if we neglect our next of kin. These troubled times require parents to pray
for their home to be made a safe place – an ark – against the floodwaters of
sin that swirl around us. We need that Godly protection. And the more we care
for our families, the more we honour God the Father.
