The crops of life

“This shows that the one who plants or the one who waters is not the important one. God is the important One. He makes it grow. “ - 1 Corinthians 3: 7
HAVE you – like me - ever started something and when it hasn’t worked out quite as foreseen, got frustrated and just let it go? We sometimes even tend to a project with great care for a while, before deciding it wasn’t meant to be. In many of life’s tasks and challenges, we need to be more like the farmer – as I am sure Angus Buchan has taught many times – and recognise that while it is our job to plant good seeds and water the fields of life's endeavour, the rest is up to God. Be obedient, do your job, then wait – in the right season, God will provide.
