More than enough

‘Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” ‘– Hebrews 13: 5

We all become obsessed with things at times; it could be money, comfort, possessions, our surroundings, whatever. After all, it’s natural to want more, and better. And that’s the point of this scripture – not to let man’s natural hoarder instincts for worldly things take over your life. God has given us so much – be content. Though this scripture applies specifically to money, think and pray about contentment in all things. If you want to covet, turn your eyes within; set your heart on the riches of your soul and Christ’s blessing of life and love. God will never leave you if you trust His Word – and He is more than enough.
