Why you matter

“…, what do you think God expects of you? Just this: Live in His presence, in holy reverence, follow the road He sets out for you, love him, serve God, your God, with everything you have in you…”  - Deut 10:11 (MSG)

THE trouble with many of us is that, in our own eyes, we don’t matter; we just aren't good enough. But God Eternal loves us so that He gave us a purpose to inspire and sustain us. It is to glorify Him, to love Him and to walk in His ways – forever.
But we can’t see it His way until we overcome an underlying world complex – that we’re not OK unless we conform and “fit in”. Striving to be “with it” can severely undermine our view of life. To counter it, God gave us the ultimate boost to help meet His criteria for everlasting value. It is the love of Christ that lives within you. He died so that your life would not be hollow but fulfilled.

PRAYER THOUGHT: Father, I pray this scripture over myself. Help me live it. Amen
