“A man will be as a
hiding place from the wind, and a cover from the tempest.” – Isaiah 32: 2
AS the dark and sorrowful echoes of 9/11 shake the towers of our minds with clanging warning bells and ringing prophecies of doom, we must remind ourselves
that our only perfect shelter is Jesus. We must not forget the sins of the past,
but the tempests of war man can conjure up will flatten all hope if we face
their force alone. When storms brew – and especially when the trees of our
lives are already bending - Jesus is the refuge that cannot be blown away in
the night. Indeed, He is our new dawn.
