“… He [God] made us accepted in the Beloved. “– Ephesians 1: 6
CHILDREN desire and need the love of
their parents. Psychologists have proved the need for a father’s love. Whatever
our own family situation, we can rejoice in the love of our heavenly Father.
How much does He love us? God said
of Jesus: “This is My beloved Son…” (Matthew
3: 17) yet He sent Jesus to die so that we could live and be with Him forever.
We – us ordinary people, whoever we are and whatever you may think of ourselves
– are “accepted” by God the Father
Almighty through His “Beloved” Son so
that we too can know that all our needs for parental love and care are
fulfilled when we too love Jesus.
PRAYER THOUGHT: Remember to thank the Lord every day for loving us
so completely. In Jesus’s name, Amen.

I appreciate this encouragement today. The truth is as Christians, we are not exempt from life's challenges. In fact this is exactly what Jesus prepares us for in John 16 v 33. However, He also says that in Him we will have have peace. We can take heart as through Him, we have overcome our past, current and future troubles....
